📝 Lektion 3 Exercises: In unserer Freizeit (In Our Free Time)

🎯 Goal: Talk about hobbies and free time, use separable verbs (Trennbare Verben) 💡 Tip: In separable verbs, the prefix goes to the end of the sentence when conjugated: einkaufen (to shop) → Ich kaufe im Supermarkt ein.

Exercise 1: Hobby Vocabulary 🖊️

Complete the dialogue between Lisa and Tom:

Exercise 5: Write About Your Hobbies ✍️

Write a paragraph (40-60 words) about your hobbies and free time. Use the questions as a guide:

  • What do you like to do in your free time?
  • What hobbies do you have?
  • Do you play sports? Which ones?
  • Do you meet friends?
  • Do you like watching TV or do you prefer reading?

✅ Sample Solution:

In my free time I like to do sports. I play tennis and go swimming once a week. I also like reading novels and listening to music. On weekends I often meet up with friends. We cook together or go for a walk. I rarely watch TV.
