🎯 Goal: Learn school subject names, describe pictures (Bildbeschreibung), hold school dialogues, and talk about your school day. 💡 Tip: When describing a picture, start with location and time, then describe people and actions. Use time expressions (erst dann, danach, später) to structure your school day.
Exercise 1: School Subjects 🖊️

Exercise 2: Picture Description (Bildbeschreibung) ✍️
A. Look at the following picture (a classroom) and answer the questions:
(Imagine: A classroom with a teacher and students, German words on the board, one student raising their hand)
Questions: 1. What do you see in the picture? 2. Where are the people? 3. How many people are in the picture? 4. What is the teacher doing? 5. What is a student doing? 6. What is on the desks?
✅ Solution: 1. In the picture you can see a classroom with a teacher and students. 2. The people are in a classroom. 3. There are about twelve people in the picture. 4. The teacher stands in front of the board and explains something. 5. One student sits at the desk and raises their hand. 6. On the desks there are books, notebooks and pens.
B. Write a complete description of the picture (6-8 sentences). Start with phrases like: Auf dem Bild sieht man... / Im Vordergrund... / Im Hintergrund... / Links... / Rechts...
✅ Solution (Model): Auf dem Bild sieht man ein Klassenzimmer. Im Vordergrund stehen Tische und Stühle. Auf den Tischen liegen Bücher und Hefte. Im Hintergrund ist eine große Tafel. Auf der Tafel stehen deutsche Wörter. Der Lehrer steht vor der Tafel und erklärt die Grammatik. Ein Schüler meldet sich, denn er möchte eine Frage stellen. Die anderen Schüler hören aufmerksam zu. A. Write 8-10 sentences about a typical school day. Use: zuerst, dann, danach, später, am Nachmittag, nach der Schule

Mein Schultag beginnt um 8 Uhr. Zuerst habe ich Mathe, denn Mathe ist mein erstes Fach. Dann um 9 Uhr habe ich Deutsch. Danach um 10 Uhr habe ich Englisch, das mag ich sehr. Um 11 Uhr ist die große Pause. In der Pause esse ich mein Frühstück und rede mit meinen Freunden. Später habe ich noch Sport und Geschichte. Um 14 Uhr endet die Schule. Nach der Schule gehe ich nach Hause. Am Nachmittag mache ich meine Hausaufgaben. Am Abend sehe ich fern oder lese ein Buch.
B. Write 4-6 sentences about your favorite subject and why you like it:
